Yasuko Hancock holds a Bachelor of Science degree, an advanced diploma (NVQ level 5) in Sports Therapy, alongside diplomas in Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Nutrition. She also has Fitness Instructor’s Certificate in Gym Instruction and Exercise to Music.
David Sheppard BA Hons, MFHT, SMA

David holds Level 3 Diplomas in Massage and Reflexology and the Level 6 Professional Diploma in Sports and Clinical Massage. In his broadly-based work, he combines Swedish Massage and traditional methods drawn from Thai massage, the ayurvedic Tradition and Traditional Chinese Medicine with clinical and sports massage techniques such as Soft Tissue Release, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot/Cold Stone Therapy and injury rehabilitation. David is involved in clinical research in the field of pain management, bodywork and movement.

Sophie is qualified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Indian Head, Natural Lift Facial and Reiki and has undertaken specialist training in Myofascial Release Technique. She has been part of the Centre’s clinical team since 2007 and is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
Sophie has developed a holistic approach to her work. At the beginning of your appointment, she will tailor with you a treatment suited to your needs on the day, including the pressure and whether a certain type or combination of therapies would be more beneficial.
